Budding chefs and everyday cooks along with potential mixologists can awaken their talents at the Grand Hotel Culinary & Beverage Academy. Each month a Grand Chef teaches at the resort’s Academy in a series of fun, hands-on experiences aimed at expanding the participants’ knowledge of both culinary and beverage basics and novel advanced techniques. CULINARY ACADEMY ($30 fee)
In each Grand Culinary Academy, participants take on a different foodie topic in an engaging session that combines an interactive two-hour cooking demonstration, recipes, food sampling and a diploma. Classes are on Saturdays at 10:00am and are limited in size. Geared for cooks of all levels, most Grand Hotel Culinary Academy programs are $30, unless otherwise noted.
BEVERAGE ACADEMY ($30 fee)
Each month, our Beverage Manager leads classes designed to expand participants’ beverage knowledge and mixology repertoire. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, the experience is informative and enjoyable, including a one-hour beverage demonstration, recipes, beverage sampling and a diploma. Classes are on Fridays at 5:30pm and are limited in size. Most Grand Hotel Beverage Academy classes are $30 and participants must be at least 21 years old to attend, unless otherwise noted.
