Grandeur, Grit and Glory Since 1847:
A Tribute to the History of the Grand Hotel.

Honoring its ties to American freedom, the Grand’s unique history is celebrated each day at 3:45pm with a procession that commences by the Main Lobby fireplace and culminates with a Civil War-replica Cannon firing on the edge of Mobile Bay at Cannon Park. Following the presentation, a Daily Lagniappe – or little bite – is presented.

In grand tradition, we proudly honor our military each day with a resounding salute in honor of the invaluable contributions of our military men and women, veterans and their families.

Elegant and endearing, and abundantly welcoming for more than 170 years, the Grand Hotel is a treasured destination for generations to love.

A study by international experts indicated that the spread of COVID-19 would be drastically reduced if 80 percent of the population wore a face covering combined with social distancing. That’s why we want to strongly increase everyone to wear a face mask in buildings and elevators
