Pickleball

Pickleball is a sport that is fun for the whole family as it combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong and is quite easy to pick up, which contributes to its popularity. Pickleball is an excellent opportunity to make friends, move your body, and enjoy the gorgeous Alabama sun. With stunning views and a world-class staff, your expectations are sure to be exceeded.

  • The Grand Hotel is thrilled to offer pickleball at our Lakewood Club.
  • Our covered pavilion features chairs, TVs, a bar, and men/women's restrooms
  • (11) Lighted hard surface courts
  • State-of-the-art LED lighting for night play through 9 pm
  • Our pro shop sells pickleball racquets, balls, and apparel
  • Players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Pickleball courts may be reserved by Grand Hotel registered guests for $40/hour.  This fee includes (4) pickleball racquets and (4) balls.  Additional pickleball racquets, balls, and apparel may be purchased at the pro shop
  • Grand Hotel registered guests must check in at the tennis pro shop for court assignments

  • Registration for lessons and clinics can be made by calling (251) 990-6395 for Grand Hotel registered guests.
