The Grand Hotel offers several indoor and outdoor wedding venues, all including a complimentary weather back-up space. They include:

-- No, all ceremonies must also have a reception.

How much does a Grand Hotel wedding cost?
-- Food and Beverage packages start at $165 per person. This does not include associated fees or function space rental fees.-- Outdoor Venues- 10:00 pm in accordance to local noise ordinance
-- Indoor Venues- 10:00 pm - 12:00 am depending on venue location

May I provide my own food and beverage?
-- In accordance with Alabama Beverage Control Laws: All food and beverages served at functions associated with the event must be provided, prepared, and served by Grand Hotel, and must be consumed on Grand Hotel premises
-- Wedding/Groom Cakes are approved with appropriate Certificate of Liability (COI) on file for selected vendor of choice at least 90 days prior to wedding.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?
-- Venues may accommodate up to 600 guests.

What additional wedding related activities do you offer?
-- We can fulfill all of your wedding wishes from beginning to end: after rehearsal dinner, bridesmaid’s luncheon, post toast, farewell brunch, bridal suite gastronomy, ceremony, reception, and honeymoon accommodations. Additional activities including:

  • Spa located on resort
  • Two championship golf courses onsite
  • Old Fashioned Fire on the Beach with S’mores
  • Bucky’s Lounge Firepit rentals
  • Bayside and Poolside Cabana Rentals
  • Croquet
  • Volleyball

How many lodging guests can the property accommodate and how do I reserve rooms?

Do I need to provide insurance?
-- All vendors that are hired to provide a service at our venue are required to provide Certificate of Insurance (COI) at least 90 days prior to wedding.

Certified Wedding Planners

After completing demanding coursework, each Grand Hotel Catering Sales Manager is qualified to work closely with your wedding planner to coordinate weddings of all styles, including ethnic and military ceremonies. With their experience, together they will help you create an overall vision for your wedding and execute each aspect flawlessly. That includes setting an event budget; deciding on a menu; arranging table settings; and finding florists, photographers, and entertainment for the big day. A list of recommended wedding planners is included in the Grand wedding menus.
